I'm Yours Linda Davis, best-known for her Grammy-winning duet with Reba McEntire, "Does He Love You," signed to DreamWorks in 1998 and was given almost no time to complete her album. That's why I'M YOURS features seven previously released songs, as well as seven new ones. In effect, I'M YOURS serves as a kind of "audio scrapbook" of Davis' career, revealing her to be an immensely talented singer whose past work has been cruelly overlooked. In fact, two of the tracks here, "In Pictures" and "What Do I Know," went on to become hits for Alabama and Ricochet respectively, proving that Davis knows how to pick a song. Her first top 10 single, "Some Things Are Meant to Be," still sounds great, while "Company Time" and "Three Way Tie" are shoulda-been-hits. The new material ranges from the uptempo title track, to the sassy "I Took the Torch Out of His Old Flame," to "From the Inside Out," a mediation on the meaning of true love. There's also a duet with Randy Travis, "Make It Through," originally recorded for the PRINCE OF EGYPT soundtrack. Travis' deeper-than-deep voice provides an interesting contrast with Davis' soprano on this unique song inspired by the story of Moses. |

This one was an early single of mine. We did a video to accompany it about sexual harassment. It has an important message about the difficulties of a single mother raising a child in today's world. |

| I Wanna Remember This |
| (Mary Beth Anderson/Jennifer Kimball/Annie Roboff) |
| We found this and recorded it rather quickly once we knew I was going to be included on the Black Dog soundtrack. I liked it immediately. Wally Wilson produced the track, and we knew right away it was the right song for me. It's just a positive, uplifting, youthful kind of song. It's a great, fun, summer song. |

| Three Way Tie |
| (Lisa Silver/Carol Grace Anderson) |
This is one of the first songs I released, back when I had a deal on Capitol Records. It was on my In A Different Ligh cd, and it was unique because it was a triangle situation. In the video we shot for it, I played an outsider observing the scene. Fans still seem to remember this one whenever I sing it live. |
| I Took The Torch Out Of His Old Flame |
| (Tim Ryan Rouillier/Leslie Satcher) |
The fans have never heard Linda Davis sing a song like this before! It's a fun, sassy, sexy song, and I think it shows off a different side of me that I haven't revealed before. |
| Love Didn't Do It |
| (Steven Dale Jones/Bobby Tomberlin) |
| This is a fun song to sing. I shot a live performance video for this and had such a good time doing it. The song doesn't change the world - but when listening to this one everyone can forget about their problems just for a few minutes. |

| Through The Cracks |
| (Steven Dale Jones/Lee Thomas Miller) |
I just love this song so much. It really brings me back to my roots. It's just a good ole country song. And the production we did on it reminds me of the music I grew up listening to. It was really reminiscent of my East Texas roots. |
| In Pictures |
| (Joe Doyle/ Bobby E. Boyd) |
| This song breaks my heart every time I hear it. It's a sad story that's all too true. Alabama cut it and released it, but I had recorded it on my Shoot For The Moon album. I have relatives in this situation, so it really hits home for me. When I sing it it's almost a way for me to personally count my blessings, since I have a great relationship with my daughter, Hillary. |
| Some Things Are Meant To Be |
| This was my first Top 10 single. It was the title song on my Arista album and I just felt this cd wouldn't be complete without it. It has that fun, slow groove that I really like and it's fun to sing. |

| Make It Through (Duet with Randy Travis) |
| I was just thrilled to be a part of this, especially because it's going to be part of The Prince of Egypt country inspired cd and I got to sing it with Randy Travis. The film's message and meaning is timeless. I'm really proud to have my name associated with this project, and especially this song. |
